2026-2027 Format

We are excited to begin a new chapter for the Legends of Fusion TCG competitive play scene. To prepare for the 2027-2028 format, we have created a new system to help track your progress and build your rank to qualify for more premier events! Review this changes to better understand how your performance fro the local level to the big stage impacts your ranking.

Formats

The Legends of Fusion TCG has created 3 formats to balance out play throughout the game, while allowing creativity for combos to be explored and perfected. These formats will be listed on every event regarding your ranking. Each event will be marked as a "Premier" event "Open" event or a "Rank Up" event. These events will allow players to gain points to their ranking. In order to be ranked, you must sign up to be a member. Sign ups can happen at local events or through this site.

The formats will be as followed:

Timeless Format: This format allows all cards related to Legends of Fusion TCG to be played with the latest rulings. To see all of the sets, click here.

Fusion Format: This format allows other cards from other games to be played with Legends of Fusion TCG. This format is in the developmental stage to ensure each game can be incorporated seamlessly into all games.

Legacy Format: This format follows the updated rules for Legends of Fusion TCG. Only cards printed listed in the World Championship Format.

Legends of Fusion Championship Ranking System

The Legends of Fusion Championship Ranking System recognizes every player's dedication, sportsmanship, and competitive success. Whether you're attending your first local event or competing on the world stage, every battle brings you closer to becoming one of the greatest Fusionists in history.

Players earn Fusion Points (FP) by participating in official Legends of Fusion Organized Play events. As your Fusion Points increase, you'll unlock new competitive opportunities, exclusive events, and prestigious titles that represent your journey through the Legends of Fusion community.

Winning tournaments is the fastest path to climbing the ranks—but every event you attend helps shape your legacy.

Z Rank Novice Fusionist 0 – 249 FP

Y Rank Apprentice Fusionist 250 – 749 FP

X Rank Rising Fusionist 750 – 1,499 FP

W Rank Veteran Fusionist 1,500 – 2,499 FP

V Rank Elite Fusionist 2,500 – 3,999 FP

U Rank Master Fusionist 4,000 – 5,999 FP

T Rank Grand Fusionist 6,000 – 7,999 FP

S Rank Legendary Fusionist 8,000 – 10,999 FP

A Rank Ascendant Fusionist 11,000+ FP

Becoming an Ascendant Fusionist is one of the highest honors in Legends of Fusion Organized Play. Only players who consistently demonstrate exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the competitive season will reach this legendary status.

Earning Fusion Points

Community Events (Free Events)

Community Events are designed to welcome players of all experience levels while encouraging local play and community growth. These free events are the perfect opportunity to meet other Fusionists, learn new strategies, and improve your skills.

Even if you don't win, simply participating earns valuable Fusion Points that contribute toward your overall rank.

Community Event Rewards

Attend an Official Community Event — 50 FP
Complete Every Scheduled Match — 25 FP
Bring a New Player — 25 FP
Receive a Sportsmanship Award — 25 FP
Win the Event — 100 FP Bonus

Maximum Possible: 225 Fusion Points

The more community events you attend, the faster your rank will grow. Every event is another opportunity to strengthen your skills and become a recognized member of the Legends of Fusion community.

Ranked Events

Ranked Events are official competitive tournaments designed for players seeking greater challenges and larger rewards. These events award substantially more Fusion Points than Community Events and play a major role in advancing through the Championship Ranking System.

Ranked Event Rewards

Tournament Participation — 100 FP
Each Swiss Round Victory — 40 FP
Top 8 Finish — 100 FP
Top 4 Finish — 150 FP
Runner-Up — 250 FP
Tournament Champion — 400 FP

Players who consistently compete in Ranked Events will advance through the ranks much faster than through Community Events alone.

Championship Events

Regional Championships, National Championships, Continental Championships, and World Championship Qualifiers offer the highest Fusion Point rewards in Organized Play.

Top Cut Qualification — 250 FP
Top 8 Finish — 400 FP
Top 4 Finish — 600 FP
Runner-Up — 800 FP
Champion — 1,200 FP

Legends of Fusion World Championship- A Rank – Ascendant Fusionist (or by official invitation)
